We have more than 15 cashew processing and packaging facilities across Asia and Africa. These are located in India, Vietnam, Côte d’Ivoire, Mozambique and Nigeria.
Our 5 facilities in Vietnam are SMETA, BRC, Halal and Kosher certified and make Olam one of the largest cashew processors in the world.
Through investment in technology, our cashew processing facilities in Vietnam have reduced process times, minimised control points, and incorporated precision grading and sorting to deliver consistent quality, customised grades and ingredients.
We employ more than 1,500 people from local communities at our Vietnam facilities, many of whom are women. In 2019 we were named one of Vietnam’s best employers by global professional services firm Aon as part of their Best Employers global certification. Following on from this we were named among the best companies to work for by HR Asia Magazine in 2018.
